Can you tell me more about your jewelry designs?
I've been creating jewelry since January 2006. I was inspired by some earrings I received, and I thought, “Hey, I wonder if I can make this?” Soon enough I had made about a dozen pairs of earrings, and some friends wanted to see. They kept wanting more, so I kept making it! I slowly expanded into bracelets, anklets, and necklaces. I still have yet to make myself that first pair of earrings, but I have hope.

Do you sell your jewelry in any stores? Not at this time. I've set up at a few local jewelry shows, but I mostly sell by word of mouth. You can purchase items from me personally. I've also started selling items through my etsy account. Occasionally I have a few items up for sale on my eBay account. I also book jewelry parties [sort of like a tupperware party]. Of course this only works if you live nearby.

What do you mean by custom jewelry? If you need something that I have in a different size, I will resize it [free of charge]. If you'd like a different type of clasp, I will again fix it free of charge. If you like a design I have but would like it in a different color or type of bead [or metal], I will recreate it to your liking, free of charge [provided that the materials are the same price. Otherwise the price will be adjusted]. I will gladly customize anything I have for you. I can also make a piece of jewelry if you have a specific idea in mind, if you can explain it to me. I love making jewelry, so feel free to ask me for custom requests.

Do you repair jewelry? I generally don't do a great deal of repairs, but I have repaired a few items for several friends. I don't solder broken metal, but I can restring broken necklaces, bracelets, etc. I can do simple repairs on some metal [or completely replace the parts, for example]. If I can find the type of bead, I can also repair items that have lost parts. I charge for the replacement pieces I use and a small fee for fixing the item. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about repairing items, and I'll let you know if I can fix the piece.

What type of metal do you use?I generally use silver or gold plated items. This help keeps my prices affordable. I occassionally use other metals, such as sterling silver, copper, surgical steel, gunmetal, aluminum, etc. I try to thoroughly describe all of my items. If you have any questions, or would like a different type of metal, please feel free to contact me.

What type of beads do you use? I use all types of beads. Swarovski crystal, gemstones, glass, acrylic, porcelain, wood, bone, metal, etc. I try to thoroughly describe all of my items. If you have any questions, or would like a different type, please feel free to contact me.

There is no “Buy Now” button next to the item. Can I not buy this piece? When the item has no Buy Now button, I've created all of the versions like the exact pictured item as I can. Quite a few gemstone beads are one of a kind, so once they're gone they're gone. But don't fret! I will see if I can find the exact or similar beads if you'd like a similar piece. Unfortunately, though, some items are one of a kind. I still have them displayed for reference purposes and viewing pleasure.

What payment types do you accept? I accept payments by Paypal. I sometimes sell items through my etsy account, as well. If you'd like to pay with a different payment method, please contact me! I'll be happy to work something out with you, but contact me before you buy the item.

What are your shipping rates? What if I order multiple items? I ship in both the US and internationally. I will ship with the USPS. You pay all shipping costs. Insurance upon request. Shipping is calculated at time of purchase. If you'd like to ship with a different carrier contact me to discuss the options. I'm happy to combine shipping costs when multiple items are purchased.

When can I expect my order to arrive? I try to fill your order as soon as possible. If your order hasn't been customized at all, I will ship your item the next day after I receive payment. If you have a custom order but it's only a minor adjustment [such as a clasp or size adjustment], you can probably expect me to ship it the next day as well. If the item is going to be completely redesigned [restrung, a different color, etc] or is a creation from scratch, it can take a couple of days to a couple of weeks. It depends on how busy I am, and also if I have to order something different to make the piece. I will contact you with a time estimate if it will be more than a couple of days.

I received my order but it's not what I expected/I don't like it. What are my options? I offer a satisfaction guarantee. However, I also encourage you to make sure you're getting exactly what you want before I send it out. It will save us both some trouble. If you don't like your item, I'll be happy to return your money, exchange your item, or redesign it. You pay for all shipping charges incurred. Just contact me if you're not pleased, and I'll try my best to fix the problem!

How can you keep your prices so low? I buy my supplies in bulk quantity, and I love a good sale [who doesn't?] I also compare prices with different companies to make sure I'm getting the best deal. That's basically my secret. Also, I don't tack on a large price after I cover the price of my materials. I mostly make jewelry for fun, not profit.
